PROSECCO DOC TREVISO CUVÉE DELL'EREDE Extra Dry

Collezione Master

The Cuvée dell'Erede owes its birth and name to Alberto Serena, son of the founder of Montelvini. Prosecco DOC Treviso in an Extra Dry version, contained in an astro bottle with a more rounded shape and lower weight, aiming towards greater sustainability.

WINEMAKING

Glera grapes ripen toward the end of September. After a soft pressing, the must is fermented at a controlled temperature, using selected yeasts. After fermentation, the wine is filtered and stored, then re-fermented in an autoclave, with the addition of liquer de tirage, at a temperature of 16°. Once the sparkling wine is obtained, it is cooled to -4° and left in contact with the lees.
Once the aging process is complete, the product undergoes isobaric filtration in a second autoclave and then bottled.

PAIRINGS & CURIOSITIES

It pairs well with seafood, white fish and shellfish; it is also excellent as an aperitif.

Typical of the Treviso region, the Glera grape is one of the oldest: it has been highly appreciated since Roman times. The Glera cluster is large, spreading, with multiple stalks and golden yellow fruit.
